CTIC's 2013 Conservation in Action Tour Is Around the Corner

Posted by Elese Orrell

The 2013 Conservation in Action Tour is around the corner.

The tour, which is being held July 9-10 in Livingston County, IL, is produced by the Conservation Technology Information Center (CTIC), a public/private partnership that leads national efforts to champion and advance conservation agriculture. Agricen is a CTIC member.

This year's Conservation in Action Tour will focus on soil health, nutrient management and drainage water management, with a special seminar on the Indian Creek Watershed Project. Brian Cornelious, Agricen's Director of Applied Sciences, will be on the tour to listen to speakers, learn from the on-farm tour stops and meet with the farmers, agribusiness personnel and others who are also in attendance.

If you are planning to attend the 2013 Conservation in Action Tour, be sure to say hello, and don’t forget to watch this space for Brian’s upcoming blog post on his thoughts and takeaways from the tour.
